0:00 - 0:14 : The music starts immediately and is medium pitched and gets higher. It sounds like it has been produced on a launch pad. Noises fade in and out of the background that and women's voices can be heard saying a word in a foreign language.

0:14 - 0:28 : It repeats the same beat but picks up and has more of a bass in the background. It gets louder and the beat gets slightly higher pitched. As it goes along more sounds get involved adding excitement.

0:28 - 0:42 : Even more sounds come in and it sounds is a quicker than the rest of the music which makes it faster paced and it repeats.

0:42 - 0:54 : This time a high pitched more techno sound comes in which builds it up more.

0:54 - 1:22 : At this point the music has died down and the first lot singing happens. Which comes in and they say "If you want me, If you need me, I'm yours".

1:22 - 1:36 : It says the chorus again but this time the music has picked back up again. After he has said the last line, a sound is constant until the next time you hear it.

1:36 - 1:51 : The last time he says it, the music fades out and then gets a lot louder by the end and he holds the word "Yours". A new sound comes in and is very EDM sounding, it makes you feel the beat about to drop and makes you feel excited as the backing music had faded out.

1:51 - 2:18 : The beat drops and it sounds like a drums are used and the launch pad sounds which are very sharp. Then a more wavering noise comes in and changes from low to high pitched and repeats. It repeats the whole section after the drop again. 

2:18 - 3:00 : Once again we hear the chorus twice and the music has faded out slightly. A sound carries on and gets high pitched and then cuts out and goes to a slight humming noise. They sing the chorus again.

3:00 - 3:18 : He sings the chorus again and the music begins to build up for the second drop. With a harsh beat getting louder and faster. The "yours" echoes and fades into the high pitched long held noise.

3:18 - 3:46 : The music drops again with the same sounds as before. You still feel the same excitement as the drop is cleverly done. As were getting to the end of the song it goes slightly deeper and duller.

3:46 - 4:13 : The chorus is sung again, but this time softer. with little amount of music in the background. It's one sound that fluctuates slightly in pitch.

4:13 - 4:37 : A different noise that fluctuates in pitch comes in and slowly fades out into silence to end the song

The song I have chosen is a remix of an original song and has removed the majority of the lyrics. I will analyse the old lyrics to give an insight to what the song is really about.

Interblooms lyrics are very personal unlike a lot of their other songs. The last verse "If you want me, if you need me, I'm yours." is showing that you will never truly let go of someone you love. As they travel a lot due to touring and gigs, they are distant from their family and friends and are talking about how they're still there for them if needed. In the remix of the song it only includes the lines "If you want me, if you need me, I'm yours". EDM music doesn't always have a lot of lyrics so isn't unexpected, especially in a remix.

Synaesthesia:

When listen to the music I picture very scenic imagery, such as beaches, jungles, a yacht in the sea and sunsets. The colour blue comes to my mind as it reminds me of the sea and clear skies which links to the fact that I think of summer when I listen to it.
